West of Broadway at 155th Street is the Audubon Terrace Historic District, an early 20th century Beaux Arts complex of buildings on what once was the country estate of the naturalist John James Audubon. Today Audubon Terrace is the home of The Hispanic Society of North America, American Academy of Arts and Letters, Boricua College, Community League of the Heights (CLOTH159), and Church of Our Lady of Esperanza.

BMA partner organization, The Hispanic Society Museum and Library, is a part of the Hispanic Society of America. American architect and philanthropist Archer Milton Huntington founded the society in 1904, to encourage the study of the art and culture of Spain, Portugal, Latin America, and the Philippines. The Hispanic Society showcases an impressive collection of over 900 paintings and 6,000 watercolors and drawings by prominent Hispanic artists including Pablo Picasso, Luisa Roldán, Francisco Goya, El Greco, and more.

Additionally, BMA partner organization Community League of the Heights (CLOTH159) calls Washington Heights home. CLOTH159 works to break the cycle of poverty for low-income individuals of color throughout Washington Heights, Hamilton Heights, and Inwood. The organization serves over 300,000 residents with their food pantry, develops over 3,000 units of affordable housing, and provides social services to over 1,700 households through their Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (PACT) program.
